Sabias que falta mesmo muito pouco para a chegada oficial da primavera? Pois, é! A estação mais bonita do ano começa oficialmente no dia 20 de março, quarta-feira. Por isso, se queres celebrar a ocasião entre flores, ficas já a saber que vem aí uma nova exposição de camélias, com entrada gratuita.
Desta vez, não estamos a falar do evento do Porto, mas sim da 3ª edição da Exposição de Camélias na Cidade da Maia. A iniciativa realiza-se já este sábado e domingo, dias 23 e 24 de março, precisamente no primeiro fim de semana da nova estação.
O objetivo desta iniciativa, que se realiza na Escola Príncipe da Beira, é promover o património biológico e cultural da zona da Maia. Afinal, estas flores são queridas não só no Porto, mas um pouco pela região Norte, em geral.
Neste sentido, aqui fica uma curiosidade: alguns dos exemplares de camélias têm mais de 200 anos. Incrível, não é?
