For those who are fans of the Seventh Art, there is good news: the return of Cinema em Festa (formerly known as Festa do Cinema), from May 12 to 14. The cultural initiative is once again offering individual tickets for the 2D screenings for just 3.5 euros, in any of the participating theaters.
In all, various films of all genres, including Portuguese and foreign works, will be shown in more than 500 cinemas from the north to the south of mainland Portugal, not forgetting the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores.

Who promotes Cinema em Festa?
It is an initiative of the Portuguese Association of Film Companies (APEC), organized since 2015.
It also has the support of various organizations, such as the Portuguese Film and Audiovisual Institute, the Portuguese Association for the Defense of Audiovisual Works, the Association for the Collective Management of Copyright and Film and Audiovisual Producers, the General Inspectorate for Cultural Activities, the Portuguese Film Academy and RTP.
