Although spring is still some time away, the truth is that as Valentine’s Day approaches, a classic that can’t be missed is a fantastic bunch of flowers, right? So, taking advantage of the occasion, we’ve put together some of the best florists in Porto so you can surprise your better half.
Roses, fresh or dried flowers, simple, exquisite or bold arrangements– there’s something for everyone. In some cases, deliveries can even be made at home. It should be noted that the order presented is random and these are just a few of the many possibilities. After all, there’ s no shortage of quality florists in the city!
Menez
Since September 2024, Menez has had its first physical space on Rua do Rosário. The project, led by the young Beatriz Ribeiro, was initially aimed at carefree people and simple things. However, since its inception in 2022, it hasn’t stopped growing.
That’s why this is another florist in Porto to consider for those looking for floral design with artistic decoration. It should be noted that the flowers are fresh, also respecting their seasonality. If you’re looking for something modern, here’s a suggestion.
However, you should bear in mind that if you want to order a more personalized bouquet, it’s important to do so a few days in advance. So, if you’re thinking about Valentine’s Day, take a look at the options available online and beyond.
Where: Rua do Rosário, 44

Terrárea
We know this florist isn’t in Porto, but Matosinhos is just next door. That’s why we decided to include it in this list, not only because of its geographical proximity, but also because of the differentiation of the concept.
What does this mean? At Terrárea you’ll find an interesting flower store, but the space is much more than that. Here you can enjoy the best of vegetarian food and more.
The store has a nationwide delivery service and is already thinking ahead to Mother’s Day, with some specific options for the date. Prices range from €25 to €60.
Where: Rua de Brito Capelo 1211, Matosinhos
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There are many other florists in Porto that could be included here in this list, but since there isn’t time or space for all of them, we’ ll leave you with other recommendations, such as:
- The Floral Affairs, Rua de Santa Catarina, 890
- Manel Jardineiro, Rua Miguel Bombarda, 285
- Mercado do Bolhão, around here, you can find several stalls with fresh and beautiful flowers, among other stores.
