“Oh, dolce Italia!”... This is one of those European countries that those who already know it want to go back to, and those who haven’t had the chance spend their lives dreaming of a trip to transalpine lands. Known for its beaches and culture, but also for its delicious cuisine, it’s time to ‘feel the magic of Italy’ without leaving Greater Porto with the return of the Italian Festival.
From July 25 to 29, the event will once again transform the Cais de Gaia into a setting worthy of a movie. On its way to its 7th edition, the Italian Festival promises a program full of entertainment, live music, creative workshops and, of course, authentic flavours for kids and adults alike. Best of all, admission is free.

A brief look at the initiative
Promoted by Associazione Sapori Italiani, in partnership with Vila Nova de Gaia City Council, this is one of the biggest events dedicated to Italian culture in Portugal.
