Pindelo Walkways and Waterfall
The Pindelo Walkways are one of the most recent nature tourism attractions in the Porto Metropolitan Area. Located in the municipality of Oliveira de Azeméis, less than 30 minutes’ drive from Invicta, this spot is attracting the attention of many visitors, particularly because of its easy access.
The Pindelo Walkways are part of the Waterfalls Route Trail, which explores the banks of the Ínsua River and scenery of great natural beauty. The total route is around 4.5 km (in a circular direction), with the option of a 2 km linear path, alternating with forest trails.
The route alternates between wooden walkways and dirt tracks, providing a diverse experience in the middle of nature. In addition, the sound of falling water and the predominance of green vegetation allow you to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life.
Lourido Wire Bridge
After almost three years of work, the historic Lourido Wire Bridge reopened to the public at the beginning of March, connecting the municipalities of Celorico de Basto and Amarante .
Around 100 years old, this suspension bridge over the River Tâmega stands out for its 55-meter span and the innovative techniques used in its original construction.
Recently rehabilitated to promote visitor mobility, the bridge promises to become a regional tourist icon, enhancing the rural surroundings and the unique landscapes around it.
Further improvements are also planned, such as the creation of a panoramic viewpoint and support parking areas.
Cuca Macuca staircase
The Cuca Macuca staircase in Valongo offers a challenge of 775 steps set in a breathtaking landscape, linking the urban center to the top of the Serra de Santa Justa .
Ideal for lovers of nature tourism and sport, the route passes through native woods, archaeological sites and viewpoints with unique views over Greater Porto.
This new attraction combines nature, history and leisure in an unmissable walk for those looking for outdoor activities near Porto. Access is free and it starts at Rua da Ivanta.
Cu Grande Swing
The ‘Cu Grande’ swing, recently opened in Gondomar, stands out for its peculiar name, which comes from a rounded geological formation, and for its privileged location in the middle of nature.

The initiative of the Branzelo Ativo Association and the Melres and Medas Parish Council has turned the place into a must-see for those who enjoy the panoramic swings that are so popular from the north to the south of the country.
