If you are an unconditional fan of pastéis de nata, you will be pleased to know that there is a ‘home’ in the heart of Porto where you can eat (and repeat) the favorite sweet of many Portuguese people: Fábrica da Nata recently opened its third store in Invicta, right in the heart of Bolhão Market.
This opening is part of the celebration of a decade of the custard tart brand , which was born in 2016 in Restauradores, Lisbon, and quickly won over the hearts and stomachs of many locals and tourists. However, this is not the only initiative to celebrate Fábrica da Nata.
Celebrations throughout the month
In a statement sent to Porto Secreto, Fábrica da Nata announced that it has several offers. For example, from March 4 to 11, when you buy a box of six pastéis de nata, the brand will give you two more free.
In addition, from March 11 to 31, the “Mystery Box” campaign promises to surprise those with a sweet tooth for cream cakes. How? The first ten customers each day who purchase a box of eight cream cakes will receive a prize from the “Mystery Box.”
In addition to its new “home” in Bolhão Market, Fábrica da Nata has two other locations in Porto, namelyon Rua de Santa Catarina and Praça Almeida Garrett. The brand has three storesin Lisbon and one in Sintra.
