To respond to the greater influx of passengers from the north of Portugal to Galicia, whether for work and/or tourist reasons, Rede Expressos, the Portuguese road transport operator, has just launched a new route aimed at strengthening connections between Porto and Santiago de Compostela.
According to a press release from the company, quoted by the newspaper Público, the new service will be available from Thursday , April 10, with departures on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, tickets can be purchased online from €9.

The new route, which follows part of the famous Caminhos de Santiago, also passes through Amarante, Vila Real and Chaves, as well as the Galician cities of Verín and Ourense.
It should be noted that one of the advantages of this service, pointed out by the company, is its departure and arrival at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport.
