Serralves Park is one of Porto’s most beautiful green spaces and therefore one of the best places to welcome the new season. On the last weekend of September, the 28th and 29th, the Autumn Festival returns for its 15th edition with a diverse program and free access.
The initiative promises to please kids and adults alike with workshops (pottery, painting, sewing and toys), exhibitions, music, plays, dance, contemporary circus, games, field trips, trails and more. The aim? To raise awareness about preserving the environment and various traditions.
It will be an opportunity to (…) experience and create bonds with the Park, the native breeds that live here and others that will be present during these two days, the urban garden and seasonal produce, the art of know-how and the challenges that evoke awareness of an environmentally and socially responsible and transformative culture,” reads the officialwebsite of the Serralves Foundation.

Film cycle and more
In its 15th edition, the Autumn Festival is once again associated with BOIL – Climate Festival, promoting a program that aims to raise awareness of the climate cause through a series of art installations and a film cycle.
Festa do Outono attracts many people from Porto
The Autumn Festival has become a true classic of Porto’s seasonal cultural agenda, attracting more and more locals and beyond.
Last year, the initiative had more than 100,000 visitors – a record turnout.
At the moment, the full program hasn’t been revealed, but we’ll keep an eye out for news.
