June promises to be an intense month, full of activities, parties and much more… And in Porto there’s plenty to enjoy, not forgetting, of course, the most anticipated night of the year, the São João. However, this year there is another reason that promises to attract everyone’s attention: the Euro 2024 matches.
If you’re a fan of the sport, or simply want to watch the Portugal national team‘ s matches up close, then you’ll be pleased to know that there are two giant screens waiting for you. Porto City Council (CMP) will take care of everything so that the population can experience Euro 2024 in style, even without leaving the city.

Where will the Euro 2024 screens be?
According to cMP news portal the two giant screens will be installed at different points in the city:
- Largo Amor de Perdição – to broadcast Portugal’s matches
- Crystal Palace Gardens – for all matches in the competition.
A brief look at Euro 2024
The Euro 2024 matches kick off on June 14, in a competition that runs until July 14 in Germany.
Portugal are in Group F and this is their schedule of group matches:
- Czechia, June 18 (Leipzig);
- Turkey, June 22 (Dortmund);
- Georgia, June 26 (Gelsenkirchen).
