O Palácio de Cristal é um dos sítios de eleição dos portuenses, seja para espairecer, passear ou até praticar exercício físico… E está repleto de cantos e recantos para contemplar, sendo que um deles ganhou agora ainda mais cor e vida após uma recente requalificação.
O Jardim do “Buxo”, como é vulgarmente conhecido, foi alvo de uma intervenção de duas semanas pela equipa dos jardineiros do Palácio de Cristal. O objetivo desta requalificação passou por manter o traçado paisagístico deste espaço.
Quem por ali passa pode agora encontrar espécies como 1600 Murta-comum, 1200 perpétuas, 4500 Iresine herbstii, ou ‘coração-magoado’, e ainda seis mil Barba-de-serpente”, lê-se no site de notícias da autarquia do Porto.
Segundo a mesma fonte, além da recuperação do estrato vegetal, houve ainda uma intervenção ao nível dos pavimentos.
