Are you from Porto or planning a city break? Whatever your case, a visit to the spa is always a good idea. On the one hand, for those who live here, it’s an opportunity to lower stress levels. On the other hand, those who are passing through can take a stroll and relax at the same time. That’s why this article is dedicated to some of the best spas in Porto.
In the hotels in and around the city, you’ll find a cure for all your ailments. So put on your bathrobe, enjoy a massage, dive into the pool and the world of wellness and get ready to relax. In other words, the premise here is just one: take care of your body and mind. So forget about everything else, disconnect from work and your hassles and make the most of every second. The order is random, choose your favorite!
Grand Bleu Spa
In the heart of the city, in the Le Monumental Palace hotel, you’ll find one of Porto’s newest spas: the Grand Bleu Spa. Inspired by the depths of the sea and with a luxurious touch, the space has been open to the public since November 2023.
On floor -1, in addition to the typical body massages and facials, you’ll find a wide range of services.
In all, the spa has an area of 350 m2, including a heated indoor pool, gym, Turkish bath, sauna and three treatment rooms, two for solo experiences and one for couples.
Prices vary and are available online. However, if you only want to use the pool (Acqua Area), the price is 40€ for one hour.

Oca Flores Hotel Boutique Porto
Located on one of the busiest streets, the OCA Flores Hotel Boutique is housed in a historic 18th century building and is another option to consider when looking for spas in Porto.
With a choice of apartments and rooms, a garden and a viewpoint over the city, this is a good (and economical) spot for visitors to Porto.
However, if you already live here, we still recommend going to the spa, which includes a sauna, Turkish bath and Roman bath in an indoor pool. Even if you’re not a guest, you can book for €15 per person for an hour. The hotel also offers a massage service.

Calla Wellness Suite
At the Torel Palace Porto, an award-winning five-star boutique hotel, you won’t find a spa, but an excellent wellness suite that also deserves a mention.
In the Calla Wellness Suite, you can enjoy a luxury treatment and relaxation experience, even if you’re not a guest of the hotel. The services are diverse and include:
- Facial and body massages, in the latter case, the use of stones and hot candles stands out;
- Lymphatic drainage;
- Make-up and hair;
- Manicures and pedicures, among others.
The prices correspond to those of a luxury experience, but you can find all the information here.
Also, if you can’t book a trip to the spa at the moment, we recommend a brief visit to Florbela Pâtisserie. This French-inspired pastry shop is located in the hotel’s old library and is perfect for a break with a good book and a cup of tea.
