Porto Beer Fest returns from June 17 to 21 to the Crystal Palace Gardens, and there’s a special reason to celebrate: it’s the 10th anniversary. The past decade has transformed the festival into one of the leading craft beer events in the Iberian Peninsula. The 2026 edition promises to be the most comprehensive and ambitious yet: over 600 beer styles, more than 50 brewers, and 11 countries.
The world comes to Porto
The list of countries to be represented speaks for itself: Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Japan, Brazil, and Canada promise to make this edition a true showcase of what each country has to offer within the sector.
Among the international highlights is Japas, a Brazilian brewery led by three women that is now coming to Europe for the first time. From Canada, Canada Craft Bières returns with new ideas that stay true to its philosophy of sustainable and eco-friendly production.
On the national front, there’s no shortage of surprises either: the restless Fermentage, the classic Praxis with its century-old Topázio and Onyx recipes, and the precision of Porto’s Burguesa are just a few highlights.
For those looking for alcohol-free or low-ABV options, Liquid Groove brings new mocktail offerings. UNDRNK presents its creative non-alcoholic lineup, one of the trends that has grown considerably in recent years. Riding this new wave, this year’s edition also features other fermented beverages, such as ciders and kombuchas.
Much more than a beer festival

Porto Beer Fest is a true celebration, where beer takes center stage, but music never takes a back seat. Curated by bars and restaurants in Porto, the entertainment spans various musical styles, featuring names such as: Jorge Romão, Rui Trintaeum, Miguel Ortigão, Phephz, IsabelMuusica, Mok Groove, Mosca, Jorge Monteiro, Lucky Lou, Xinês, Carlos Fontoura, and the sensation of the moment, SuM, who is part of the lineup for Primavera Sound Porto on the day dedicated to electronic music.
To go hand in hand with all this, you’ll find not only a carefully curated selection of street food to pair with the beers, but also a setting that helps bring it all together. The Crystal Palace Gardens have acoustics and natural light that make any stage sound better.
An eco-friendly festival
It’s not just what it offers that sets Porto Beer Fest apart. For the second consecutive year, the festival was the sole winner of the “Coração Verde Lipor” award, thanks to its work in environmental monitoring, the circular economy, the collection of recyclable and organic waste, and the promotion of sustainable mobility. In addition, the venue also holds the international “Green Flag Award” certification .
Admission is free, but you have to pay for the beer
