In recent times, several new restaurants have sprung up in Porto, one of which is Éon. ‘Hidden’ in Palacete Severo, one of the city’s most recent art and heritage havens, this space offers a true gastronomic experience.
Led by chef Tiago Bonito, who was awarded a Michelin star for his quality work at Largo do Paço, in the Casa da Calçada Hotel (Amarante), Éon pays tribute to the elegance and history of the building in which it is housed.
The Éon restaurant menu
According to a statement sent to <shortcode data-tag=”trackLink” 0=”link_url=”https://portosecreto.co/”<strong><em>”>Porto Secreto, the tasting menu has been carefully prepared with the aim of transporting us on a journey through history.
In all, there are 14 unique moments, featuring dishes such as:
-
Caviar 3.0, sea urchin, purple shrimp and seaweed;
-
Bluefin tuna, cucumber oyster, apple and wasabi
-
Veal, smoked celery, São Miguel cheese and wild mushrooms, among others.
However, Éon is not the only restaurant at Palacete Severo, and there is another alternative, namely Bistrô Severo, which stands out as a more informal option.
A brief look at Palacete Severo
Classified as a building of historical interest, Palacete Severo, located in the Boavista area, has been abandoned for some time and has now been reborn as a boutique hotel.
There, as well as the gastronomic offer, the highlights include the Severo Spa, the private garden with indoor pool, the events room and the Perspective Galerie, which promises to please art lovers.
