XXL by Olivier
Chef Olivier da Costa needs no introduction and is one of the best known names in the world of catering in Portugal. Since the end of 2024, there has been a new space with his signature to discover in Porto: XXL by Olivier Porto.
Located near the Bom Sucesso Market, you’ll find an atmosphere full of refinement, attentive staff… And best of all, without a doubt, the quality of each dish presented. After dinner, you can always enjoy a signature cocktail at the bar. We’ve been there and we recommend it!

Blss U
Located in the historic center of Porto, Blss U is one of the new restaurants in Porto that promises to surprise you from the very first moment. After all, the atmosphere is welcoming and the concept innovative.
With dishes signed by Chef Xavier Oliveira and curated by Chef Miguel Rocha Vieira, the concept of this gastro club revolves around the seven deadly sins, a fact that is reflected not only in the menu, but also in the signature cocktails.
We’ve already been there and we’ll share the whole experience with you soon. Until then, you can always pop into this spot in the heart of the city, if only to enjoy a drink. And believe us, it’s worth it!

L’Égoïste Bar & Restaurant
Located in the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel, L’Égoïste Bar & Restaurant is one of Porto’s newest restaurants, inviting tourists and locals alike on a creative journey through Portuguese flavors.
With a menu signed by chefs Duarte Batista and Ricardo Tiago, the restaurant stands out for its reinvention of traditional dishes, such as the “Tribute to Francesinha” and the vegetarian “No Reino Dos Míscaros”. In addition, the desserts reinterpret Lusitanian sweets with international touches.

Imanol Barra Basca
Open since the end of 2024, Imanol Barra Basca has expanded its brand from Lisbon to Porto. Located in Rua de Mouzinho da Silveira, you can salivate over the best of Basque gastronomy (and more).
The typical pintxos from Bilbao, the quality of the meats from the north of Spain and the delicious cheese tarts make this a place to consider, whether for a quick meal at the bar or a date for two.
It should also be noted that between January 6 and 12, there is a campaign available called “Combo dos três Reis” which includes two cold pintxos + Vermouth, for €10, from 14h00 to 19h00.

Cusco
On the rooftop of the Hilton Porto Gaia, the Cusco restaurant offers a unique experience that combines the fusion of Peruvian gastronomy with Porto’s roots.
With a privileged view of Ribeira, the space stands out for its elegant décor and dishes such as “Acém round steak with sweet potato chips” and “Roast octopus with anticuchera sauce”.

Tokkotai in the heart of Porto
The Tokkotai restaurant, known for its excellent Japanese cuisine, has opened a new space in Time Out Market Porto.
This temporary kiosk offers a selection of sushi and cold dishes, including temakis, tacos, pokes and gunkans. Among the highlights are the Truffled Salmon Carpaccio and the Quail Egg Gunkan.

Pizzeria Fontinha Hotel
At Pizzeria do Fontinha Hotel, the quality of the menu is ensured by chefs Pierre-Olivier Petit and Miguel Rocha Vieira (three Michelin stars), who supervised its preparation.
In addition, the Neapolitan-style pizzas are the main protagonists here and the main ingredients are brought directly from Italy. A place to consider for lovers of transalpine food.

Nani Bistrot
The younger ‘brother’ of the Alto restaurant recently opened, with a focus on Armenian-Georgian cuisine. Located on Rua da Torrinha, you don’t need to book to sit at a table at Nani Bistrot. Here, a traditional, homely and comfortable concept dominates .
Or, if it weren’t for “Nani”, an affectionate diminutive in Armenian for “grandmother”. The aim is to welcome those who enter as if they were at home. The prices are more affordable and the portions are larger than in Alto. And there are meat dishes, but also vegetarian versions.
