Are you planning to go to Avenida dos Aliados to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Porto? It’s best to leave the car at home and take public transport. In fact, there’s Metro do Porto all night long and the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto (STCP) has also reinforced its operation from December 31st to January 1st. But what about the trains?

According to CP – Comboios de Portugal, this could also be a viable alternative in large urban centers such as Invicta and Lisbon. This is because more than 40,000 seats have been made available to meet the increased demand associated with the festivities in Porto and the Portuguese capital.
